Showcase Sunday #6

Showcase SundayThe aim of Showcase Sunday is to highlight our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else has received for review, borrowed from libraries, bought in bookshops or downloaded on to eReaders each week. Hosted by Books, Biscuits and Tea.

All the books I bought this week were eBooks! There are only five, I actually ended up buying them on a whim because they were cheaper than usual and they are only available as eBooks.

Granted the first four books are actually eNovellas.

The Assassin and the Pirate Lord
The Assassin and the Desert
The Assassin and the Underworld
The Assassin and the Empire
By Sarah J. Maas

I decided to get these because I’m excited for The Throne of Glass (Even if there have been mixed reviews on it), these novella’s sounded interesting so I thought why not?

Whispers in Autumn by Trisha Leigh

I decided to get this eBook because I’ve wanted it since I first saw the cover reveal for it (Isn’t the cover just beautiful?). I thought the summary sounded really interesting and something I could like (It’s about aliens!), then I saw it was only $4 on Amazon and decided I just could not not buy it at that price!

What books did you add to your shelves this week?

Miss J

  1. OOh interesting! Didn’t know there were so many novellas before Throne of Glass! Happy Reading!

My STS will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by!

    Have a GREAT weekend!

    Old Follower :)

    • Ohh cool idea! I just checked it out, you have a lot of categories to catalogue. Good luck!

I read the first chapter last night before realising I really need to read my library books before I need to send them back otherwise I won’t get to read them all. It’s really interesting so far! Well I’m confused because I haven’t quite gotten to the part where everything makes sense yet haha, but I’m liking it.

Whenever I think of Aliens I think of the TV program Roswell…

  2. I remember many many rave reviews for Throne of Glass!! The premise is chillingly exciting and I can’t wait to get my hands on it, you won’t want to know how jealous I am by the 4 novellas you got! ;) Have a great week ahead reading!

I’m now a proud new follower of your blog, do drop by mine @ too!

  3. I can’t wait for Throne of Glass either! I’m going to read the novel before I read the novellas though. I’m on the blog tour for Whispers in Autumn. I can’t wait to read it!
