On The List #14

My TBR list gets longer and longer every week, I wanted a way to share those books, so I decided on these posts. I might not exactly be reviewing these books straight away or any time soon, but you never know, I could review them next!
The book I have decided to share On The List this week is:

Legend by Marie Lu

What was once the western United States is now home to the Republic, a nation perpetually at war with its neighbors. Born into an elite family in one of the Republic’s wealthiest districts, fifteen-year-old June is a prodigy being groomed for success in the Republic’s highest military circles. Born into the slums, fifteen-year-old Day is the country’s most wanted criminal. But his motives may not be as malicious as they seem.

From very different worlds, June and Day have no reason to cross paths—until the day June’s brother, Metias, is murdered and Day becomes the prime suspect. Caught in the ultimate game of cat and mouse, Day is in a race for his family’s survival, while June seeks to avenge Metias’s death. But in a shocking turn of events, the two uncover the truth of what has really brought them together, and the sinister lengths their country will go to keep its secrets.

Full of nonstop action, suspense, and romance, this novel is sure to move readers as much as it thrills.

Totally on a Dystopian kick right now. This one sounds awesome so it definitely had to go on my to be read list!

What’s ‘On Your List’?

    • I know how you feel. I love it when you’re completely pulled into a book/series and fall in love with the characters so much that you miss reading them after you’ve finished the book/series. But you’re also glad their story is finally over and you get to find more characters in other stories to fall in love with.

  1. Great pick! I read LEGEND a few months ago, and it was quite good, though the book is fairly short. Hope you get a chance to read it soon!

P.S. Don’t worry, I’m on a dystopian kick, too. I have been, ever since DELIRIUM. ;) I love my dystopias!

    • Hmm I think a short dystopian is the kind of book I need! I’ve been reading some epic long winded books lately. It’s nice to take a break every once in a while!

Ohh I just bought Delirium myself, I can’t wait to get started on it!
