Favourite Cover Friday is where I show you book covers that I have come across and really liked. They may not be books I necessarily want to read, though I leave the summary for you to make your own judgement for yourself.
This week my favourite cover is:
Nightshade by Andrea Cremer
Calla Tor has always known her destiny: After graduating from the Mountain School, she’ll be the mate of sexy alpha wolf Ren Laroche and fight with him, side by side, ruling their pack and guarding sacred sites for the Keepers. But when she violates her masters’ laws by saving a beautiful human boy out for a hike, Calla begins to question her fate, her existence, and the very essence of the world she has known. By following her heart, she might lose everything – including her own life. Is forbidden love worth the ultimate sacrifice?
This cover is eerily pretty.
The model looks kind of creepy with her purple grey hair and amber, yellow eyes. But I think I find it so creepy because of the flowers, they just add that touch. The red looks like blood and whatever flower it is just gives off this dark feeling. I could be making that up, but I see it.
I like the glittery make-up on the girl, it is rather pretty. The font blends in well and is pretty.
So for some reason I just think this cover is really pretty. Creepy, but pretty.
