Q: We are about to see a lot of posts & tweets about reader conventions, RT, BEA, ALA and many more are starting soon. Which one would you love to attend? Where and why?

A: I think this is a question that I don’t find is very relevant to me. Mainly because I live in New Zealand and obviously that’s a tad far for me to travel, as well as highly expensive. Although BEA is in New York? If it were even possible I would attend BEA and then stay for a few weeks just so I could hang out in New York!

I think if I had the chance to go to any reader convention I would look into going. I do get jealous when I see everyone is posting about their time at these conventions. But because I’m in NZ I’ve never put any more thought or action into it.

What conventions would you like to attend?

  1. I totally know what you mean! I’m in the states but much closer to the western side, and there aren’t any major book conventions close by me. I’m not rich enough to just hop a plan to NYC anytime, so I’m the same way. Still, I dream of attending BEA someday. :D Happy Friday!

  2. Oh wow, that is far. And here I was complaining about living in Florida and being unable to make it to BEA! But yeah, it’s definitely expensive overall. Hopefully one day we can both make it to BEA!

  3. I have always wanted to visit New Zealand, but that sucks that there aren’t any big book conventions there! I hope you get the chance to go to one someday though :)

New Bloglovin’ and Twitter follower :)

  4. I’m really surprised there aren’t bookish conventions in other countries. I wish there were for my international friends. I’ve never been to a convention, but I’d like to go to BEA someday.

    New follower! :D
